Change of Plans for Broad & Washington

According to Curbed Philly, developer Bart Blatstein has revamped his original plan for the vacant corner of South Broad Street and Washington Avenue to something similar like the Piazza at Schmidt’s in Northern Liberties.

Originally, Blatstein’s plan included a grocery store, movie theater and other retail space with parking.  The developer now plans to construct a 30-story building with residential condo units and retail space that will include an interior dog park, pool, fitness center and rooftop events with similar attractions like The Piazza.

This new plan has not yet been approved but it sure is appealing.
