Hopefully everyone is enjoying the nice holiday weekend. It’s an informal kickoff to the summer, but also a time to remember the ultimate sacrifice our military members have made throughout the history of our great country.
The mortgage markets remain at the lowest levels of 2014. We’ve seen the employment sputter along coupled with tepid general economic growth should keep mortgage rates around this low-4% mark for the foreseeable future. The general risk is for rates to move slightly higher off this low point so we continue to advise our clients to lock-in their rates when available.
I saw this quote on a newsletter I read throughout the week and thought the famous quote my Winston Churchill captures Memorial Day very well:
